PROJECT ESSENCE
Scientific and technical solutions to justify and implement rational charging / discharging modes of traction batteries of electric vehicles with the introduction of smart Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) and Grid-to-Vehicle (G2V) technologies were developed, which allow an effective management of energy generation and consumption . Scientific substantiation of trends in the development of electric vehicle infrastructure calls for increasing the efficiency of the proposed smart solutions. It is namely an identification of the most suitable for the location of transport infrastructure (charging stations, services) districts of cities, which with growing demand for electric vehicles will ensure an effective management and interaction of electromechanical electric vehicle system with electrical network and increase the life of traction batteries by avoiding deep discharge in cases of suboptimal placement of charging stations without an additional mileage on discharged batteries.
APPLICATION FIELD
Objects of transport infrastructure (charging stations, services) of city districts. Energy systems of the country; control systems of the electromechanical system of electric vehicle and electrotechnical complex “electric vehicle - charging station - distribution network”.
PRACTICAL RESULT
The development solves the problems of energy independence and energy security of the state, comprehensive improvement of electricity industry efficiency by rational use of the potential of combined energy supply systems based on electric vehicles as, first, decentralized highly maneuverable and environmentally friendly energy supply sources and, second, as consumers-regulators of energy system load.
STATE AWARDS
The work was performed within the research themes of the National Technical University Dnipro University of Technology and was awarded the Prize of the President of Ukraine in 2019.
RESEARCH INTRODUCTION ADVANTAGES
The proposed set of technological solutions will increase the sustainability of Ukrainian energy system and improve the environmental condition of urban areas, reduce energy dependence of transport and energy-generating sector of the country.
Creating the optimal infrastructure of charging and service stations will provide a social effect to ensure sustainable development of local communities in reducing unemployment, the development of innovative professions.
The social effect takes into account the material incentives of transport owners to participate in the alignment of schedules of electrical loads of the energy system, which will increase the pace of promotion of environmentally friendly transport among the population.
