PROJECT ESSENCE
The technology for the complex development of mineral raw materials in the development of flooded placer mines involves the use of hydromechanized mining complex consisting of dredgers and floating concentrating plant with the distribution of minerals into heavy raw materials, sand and clay rocks, thus giving the opportunity to abandon the formation of tailing dams and use clay rocks as ancillary raw materials or store it in potential man-made deposits. This increases the efficiency of integrated development of related raw materials by attracting enclosing rocks, reducing the volume of transportation works in an open mine during mining, reducing the area of lands for tailing purpose, which in complex can increase significantly the efficiency of flooded placer mines.
APPLICATION FIELD
This technology can be used in flooded deposits of titanium-zirconium raw materials, for example, in at the Motronivskyi concentrating plant. The introduction of the technology for integrated development of titanium-zirconium deposits will allow the road industry to reduce significantly the consumption of sand from natural open mines during the construction of road embankment with the use of related raw materials.
PRACTICAL RESULT
The technology is obtained, which allows to reduce the volume of transportation work of an enterprise, reduce production waste and land area for location of tailings, and as a result, increase the environmental safety of mining operations.
TECHNOLOGY INTRODUCTION ADVANTAGES
1. Reduction of the total length of pipelines by 1.44 times;
2. Reduction of the average weighted volumes of transportation works with the complex technology of deposit development by 9.3 times;
3. Reduction of average weighted volumes of transportation works at construction of tailing dams by 2 times;
4. Reduction of periods needed for construction tailing dams from 7 to 5.8 years;
The present project cost using the integrated technology is maximal among other technologies in case 4% of related raw materials is involved in process. In terms of investment payback period, the integrated technology is the most efficient provided the attraction of at least 13.2% of related raw materials.
